What Clear Braces Means at MHR Orthodontics
Clear braces is the everyday name for clear aligner treatment: a sequence of transparent, removable trays that move your teeth in planned stages. Each tray applies controlled force to specific teeth. You wear one set for one to two weeks, then switch to the next, and the cumulative effect walks your teeth into their final positions.
MHR Orthodontics offers two aligner systems. Invisalign, the most widely known brand, uses SmartTrack material and carries the largest body of clinical case data of any aligner product. Spark Clear Aligners, manufactured by Ormco, use TruGEN material cut with a polished flat trim line at the gumline. Ormco's published lab data shows TruGEN resists staining better than the leading aligner brand under controlled testing. Both systems come out for meals, brushing, and flossing. Both require about 22 hours of daily wear to stay on schedule.
The trays are only the delivery vehicle. The treatment plan behind them decides your result. Every plan at this office comes from one board-certified specialist working from your digital scans, photographs, and x-rays, not from a remote technician you will never meet.
What Clear Braces Cost in Monmouth County
Aligner pricing in this county follows case complexity, treatment length, and refinement needs, so a quote sight unseen would be a guess. What you can count on: MHR Orthodontics is in-network with most PPO dental plans, offers no-interest financing with monthly payment options, and provides an exact written quote at a complimentary consultation before you commit to anything. Orthodontic insurance benefits usually carry a lifetime maximum per person rather than an annual one, so a benefit you have never touched is likely still available to you as an adult. Bring your plan details to the consult and the team will verify coverage before you decide.
Who Makes a Good Candidate
Clear braces handle mild to moderate crowding, spacing, relapse after earlier orthodontics, and many bite discrepancies. Mature teens and adults who can commit to 22 hours of daily wear tend to do well. Severe rotations, large bite corrections, and cases in young children with erupting teeth often respond better to fixed appliances. Compliance is the deciding factor more often than anatomy: a patient who leaves trays on the nightstand will fall behind no matter how good the plan is. The consultation settles candidacy with evidence, not optimism.
Your Treatment, Start to Finish
Treatment opens with a digital scan of your teeth, so there are no putty impressions. Dr. Rabinovich builds a stage-by-stage movement plan and submits it for fabrication. When your trays arrive, you wear each set for the prescribed interval and return for brief checks every 8 to 12 weeks so the office can confirm tracking and hand off your next batch. Small tooth-colored attachments may be bonded to certain teeth to give the trays grip on harder movements. If a tooth lags, refinement aligners correct course; refinements are routine and built into planning here. After the final tray, custom retainers protect the result, because teeth drift fastest in the months right after active treatment ends.
